Rebalance Studio Chester is looking for an experienced and confident Sports Therapist to grow the team. Established for 5 years, Rebalance has built a loyal client base, supporting people with a variety of injuries and goals. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality personalised care whilst maintaining a welcoming, professional and calm environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Therapist who is passionate about hands-on treatment techniques and injury rehabilitation to help patients move better and therefore feel better.
Duties
- Be confident assessing and treating a wide variety of injuries
- Provide specialised sports massage therapy using a combination of techniques like joint mobilisations, active releases, PNF stretching and trigger point therapy
- Develop and confidently prescribe personalised treatment plans, tailored to individuals needs and goals
- Prescribe beneficial rehabilitation exercises to each patient to support their care and prevent further injury/pain
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress notes using the provided booking system
- Be able to answer phone call, text and email enquires for booking appointments
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times
- Willing to participate in Sports Therapy CPD in order to develop current skillset, and incorporate this into treatments
Qualifications
- BSc in Sports Therapy, Physio or similar
- Hold a Sports Massage qualification within their degree or level 4 Sports Massage
- Additional qualifications in myofascial dry cupping or instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation is a bonus!
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and musculoskeletal systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively to patient concerns
- Ability to confidently work independently as well as part of a team
- Organised with attention to detail in record keeping and treatment planning
- A professional attitude with a commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards
