Gelato Gusto is an award-winning artisan gelato producer based just outside Chichester, supplying restaurants, cafés, caterers and hospitality venues across London and the South East.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and friendly part-time Delivery Driver to join our team.
The role involves packing and delivering our gelato from our production kitchen near Chichester to customers in Brighton, Windsor and Central London. Deliveries currently take place twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
This position would suit someone who enjoys driving, takes pride in being punctual and well-organised, and is looking for regular part-time work. It may also suit someone who is semi-retired or looking for a steady role with a local business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Packing customer orders ready for delivery
- Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle
- Delivering frozen products safely and on time
- Representing Gelato Gusto in a friendly and professional manner
- Keeping the vehicle clean and reporting any issues
- Following basic food safety and temperature control procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- A careful and confident driving style
- Good attention to detail
- A friendly and professional manner with customers
- The ability to lift and carry boxes as part of the role
- Local knowledge of Chichester, Brighton and London routes would be helpful
Due to vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must meet our insurer’s driver eligibility criteria. The role is based from our production kitchen just outside Chichester, so candidates will need to live within reasonable travelling distance.
