No Worries Commercial Cleaning is looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy Cleaning Operative to join our team working at a dental practice.
This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and is comfortable working independently.
The Role
Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Hours per week: 9 hours
Key Holder: Yes
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the dental practice is cleaned and maintained to a consistently high standard. You will be working independently, so the successful candidate must be comfortable lone working and taking responsibility for securing the premises at the end of each shift.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning the dental practice to a consistently high standard.
- Cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas in line with the required cleaning procedures.
- Cleaning floors, surfaces, toilets, staff areas and other designated areas.
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is handled appropriately.
- Following all company cleaning procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Following infection prevention and control procedures and maintaining the required hygiene standards for a dental practice.
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
- Following COSHH procedures when using cleaning chemicals.
- Working to the standards required for practice audits and ensuring cleaning standards are consistently maintained.
- Monitoring cleaning product and stock levels.
- Ordering cleaning products and supplies when necessary.
- Reporting any issues, damage, maintenance concerns or shortages promptly.
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while working within the dental practice.
- Locking and securing the premises correctly at the end of each shift.
About You

- Comfortable lone working.
- Professional and respectful when working within a healthcare environment.
- Willing to complete infection prevention and control training, which will be provided as part of the role.
- Able to consistently meet the cleaning and hygiene standards required for dental practice audits.
- Able to communicate clearly with our management team.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right person.
