Job Summary:
We are looking for Match day SIA Officers to join our current team. You will be part of a team ensuring that some of the UK and the world's biggest events run in a safe, secure way, ensuring that everyone has a first-class experience.
This is a varied role that will provide great memories: you could be based in the event space, outside with the fans, or helping to protect world-famous athletes and staff. Friendly, professional, and approachable, you'll use common sense to help people and ensure the events run smoothly.
Shifts will be a minimum of 4 hours
Duties May Include
- Carrying out pre and post event safety checks.
- Searching customers on entry to venues.
- Monitoring access points and site perimeter patrolling.
- Ingress and egress management.
- Crowd management - foot traffic direction, maintaining order, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to.
- Conflict management.
- Deliver approachable customer service and support to guests.
- Report any anti-social and suspicious behaviour.
- Directing customers around the site.
- Dealing with customer ejections from site and physical intervention
Requirements:
- A valid SIA license.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to stay vigilant to security risks.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly if needed
- Must pass a 5 year background check
