Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, including commercial spaces and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishment when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required by the needs of the business.
