Job Purpose
Nurture’s Intensive Community Support Service is a new dedicated model of care which works alongside children and young people during ordinary everyday life, recognising that ordinary moments create extraordinary opportunities for healing, learning and recovery.
The Registered Manager is the legally accountable operational leader responsible for ensuring the Intensive Community Support Service delivers safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services. The post holder will ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations, CQC Fundamental Standards and, where applicable, Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations. They will lead the day-to-day operation of the service, creating an environment where children and young people experience safety, stability and compassionate care whilst supporting staff to flourish.

Key Responsibilities
· Act as the Registered Manager with legal accountability for regulated activities.
· Ensure continuous compliance with CQC and Ofsted standards where applicable.
· Lead safeguarding, risk management and incident oversight.
· Recruit, induct, supervise and develop the workforce.
· Maintain governance systems, audits and quality improvement programmes.
· Manage complaints, Duty of Candour, notifications and whistleblowing.
· Develop positive relationships with families, commissioners and partner agencies.
· Support mobilisation, operational readiness and business continuity.

Start Date
· We are aiming for successful candidates to start from September 2026, subject to satisfactory references, enhanced DBS clearance, right-to-work checks and completion of pre-employment requirements.

Qualifications
Essential: Experience of leading teams in complex services is more important than a professional qualification.
Desirable: Degree/Master's.
Regulatory Leadership
Essential: Experience of CQC, Ofsted safeguarding and regulated services.
Desirable: Has held roles of Registered Manager or equivalent in a regulatory environment
Leadership
Essential: Managing multidisciplinary teams and creating psychologically safe cultures.
Desirable: Inspection leadership.
Governance
Essential: Evidencing Audit, risk, incident management and quality improvement.
Desirable :Qualification in governance like H&S, PSIRF or QI
Communication
