We require a Sales Assistant to work in our busy Lymington based yacht chandlery. We require someone with technical knowledge of boats, yachts, marine engines or marine maintenance to provide our customers with assistance and guidance in choosing the correct products for their boats.
The Role:
- Ideally full time (5 days per week). To include regular weekends. Part time applicants also considered.
- To serve customers within our store, helping them choose the best products for their projects
- To aid in the smooth operation of the store - restocking, pricing, cleaning and tidying.
- Our stores are open 7 days per week.
- Salary is indicative only, and dependent on experience.
The Candidate
- Any potential candidate must have a basic understanding of boats, yachts, or marine maintenance.
- Your work must be neat, tidy and presentable.
- You must be responsible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A basic understanding of computers is required, although full training on our till system will be given.
