Cladding Installer

Rate: £16.00-£22.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for Cladding Installers to start ASAP on ongoing projects.
We have opportunities available for both experienced installers and candidates looking to develop their skills within the cladding trade.
The role will involve installing pressed aluminium cladding, including setting out, first fixing the supporting sub-frame and second fixing finished panels.
Works will include fascias, soffits and cappings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out cladding works from drawings and site instructions
- First fix cladding sub-frame and support systems
- Install brackets, rails and associated components
- Second fix pressed aluminium cladding panels
- Install fascias, soffits and cappings
- Check line, level, alignment and finished appearance
- Read and interpret construction and installation drawings
- Complete works to the required quality and specification
- Work safely in accordance with site RAMS and procedures
- Work effectively as part of the wider site team
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous cladding installation experience desirable
- Experience installing pressed aluminium cladding preferred for skilled positions
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Valid CSCS card
- Fire cavity barrier installation experience is an advantage but not essential
- Able to operate in a flexible and adaptable manner and work as part of a team
- Open to attending training programmes to increase individual skills and knowledge
