Location: The Gamekeeper, Scotter DN21 3TW
Position Type: Permanent Part-Time
Hours: Various days, including weekend and evening shifts on a rota
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
Are you passionate about food and love working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Part-Time Kitchen Cook/Chef.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of management
- Ensure food is prepared to high standards of taste, quality, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Support with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Wash dishes and clean equipment as needed
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- Some kitchen or cooking experience preferred (but not essential — training provided for the right person)
- A passion for cooking and great food
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends
