We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team as Children’s Complex Care Medical Support Worker!
At YorHealth, we provide a nurse-led complex care service for children and adults in the community, which includes 24-hour care. Our complex care assistants accompany clients to nursery, school, and hospital when required.
Our client is looking for a member of staff to join their team to deliver care and support in their family home and school.
Shift and working patterns:
Waking nights 20:00 - 6:00
Days 8:30-17:30
We are seeking someone who is:
- Warm, friendly, and passionate about the wellbeing of young people, with a caring and patient disposition.
- Experience supporting children with complex needs preferable.
- Caring and Compassionate.
- All clinical training will be provided.
Here are some of the key responsibilities of the role. This is not a complete list, and other duties may be required:
- Providing continuous overnight monitoring and support
- Supporting ventilation care
- Observing and recording vital signs and overall wellbeing
- Enteral Feeding
Please note the successful candidate must be within easy distance to DN11 as 8.30 start is to accompany transport for school and must be on time.
