Your Role
As a Home Care Assistant, you will travel between clients' homes, providing high-quality care and support that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Every day is different, but you'll play a vital role in helping people continue living in the place they love most – their own home.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
- Supporting clients with medication in accordance with their care plans
- Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition and hydration
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
- Maintaining accurate care records using our digital care system
- Following safeguarding, infection prevention and health & safety procedures
- Building positive, professional relationships with clients and their families
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Access to your own vehicle (essential due to our rural service areas)
- Willingness to travel between clients within the community
- A caring, compassionate and reliable nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in the UK
