About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding and compliance.
You'll lead and inspire your team, build strong relationships with families, and create an engaging environment where both children and staff can achieve their full potential.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the autonomy to make a difference while being fully supported by an experienced senior leadership team.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the nursery team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Support, coach and develop staff through regular supervision and training
- Create a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and safeguarding
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals
- Monitor occupancy and support local marketing initiatives
- Oversee nursery administration, records and operational performance
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure outstanding outcomes for children
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or senior nursery leader
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong organisational and communication abilities
- A genuine passion for Early Years education and child development
- The ability to motivate, inspire and develop others
