Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to optimise workforce productivity.
- Address guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders when necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management for prompt resolution.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrable customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of staff.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for overseeing multiple locations or transporting supplies.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with guests and team members.
Pay: £13.21 per hour
