Salary: £24,901.50 plus opportunity to earn performance bonus after probation.

The Role
As an ITAD Repair Operative, you’ll play a key part in processing and preparing technology equipment for secure data wiping, refurbishment, or recycling as well as repairing it. Every day will be different – from handling and sorting laptops and servers to ensuring data is securely destroyed and systems are accurately updated.
You’ll help make sure we meet our goals for data security, efficiency, and sustainability – all while working as part of a friendly, supportive team.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Repair technology such as laptops, computers, TV’s and gaming consoles.
- Process and label IT equipment using our internal system
- Prepare items for secure data erasure and refurbishment
- Grade and sort devices for reuse or recycling
- Shred hard drives and handle data destruction processes
- Communicate with the team to keep jobs on track
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Report any issues or missing items promptly
- Contribute to daily operational goals
What You’ll Bring

Essential:
- Knowledge of IT equipment such as laptops, desktops, or servers
- Experience of repairing technology such as laptops, computers, TV’s and gaming consoles.
- Physically able to lift and move equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Comfortable using basic computer systems
- A team player who can also work independently
- A commitment to keeping data secure
