What a lovely job, being surrounded with the best produce every day, sharing your knowledge with the customers and the team and no late nights – what a dream. The provisions here are all excellent and really thoughtfully sourced, the kind of things that inspire you to cook. We think this job is super exciting for anyone currently in restaurant management that is looking for a better work life balance. The schedule here is super flexible so as long as the closing shifts are shared between you and the other managers, you’ll have loads of autonomy in how to manage your schedule.
You’ll be responsible for all the usual GM stuff, there is a production kitchen here, so you’d also oversee this with an eye on the H&S compliance too. It’s not essential to have retail experience for this one, the biggest priority is finding someone that has great knowledge of the produce and offering and wants to learn more. Organising regular team training and sharing your knowledge is key to ensure customer service here remains slick and informed. There is a bustling café and lunch trade, so you’ll also serve behind the counter and oversee a deli offering full of delicious lunch and grab and go options.
