About the Role:
We are looking for an electrical tutor to deliver Solar PV, EV charging and battery storage courses to predominantly employed and self employed electricians.
Key Responsibilities
· to undertake a thorough initial assessment with learners and agree an individual learning plan that meets their needs, is SMART and progresses them to their goals.
· To design and deliver engaging lessons that provide differentiation, meet the needs of all learners in the groups, achieve good learning outcomes and are of good quality
· Submit portfolios in a timely manner for interim and summative verification and work with the IV to ensure quality improvement.
· To be responsible for learner attendance, carrying out all internal processes and ensuring targets are achieved.
· To plan delivery and assessment in a thorough scheme of work and achieve timely success targets.
· To ensure all assessment paperwork and records are completed accurately.
· Timely completion of assessment and documentation to meet awarding body, audit, and organisational requirements.
· Monitor learner attendance and punctuality patterns and applying interventions where appropriate, escalating issues to Line Manager
· Identifying any risks surrounding learner completion/retention/success and putting together additional support and IAG to overcome barriers for learners.
Criteria
· At least level 3 in solar PV/battery storage and/or occupationally competent or technically knowledgeable/have experience assessing
· At least Level 3 in EV charging and/or occupationally competent or technically knowledgeable/have experience assessing
· Level 3 or above in Health and Safety
· Teaching/Assessing qualification
Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
