Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating flatbed or vans to deliver materials and equipment to various locations while also assisting with general labour tasks on-site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine skilled driving with hands-on labour, ensuring efficient operations and timely deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely operate flatbed vans for the transportation of goods, materials, and equipment to designated sites
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, securing loads properly for transit
- Support on-site labour tasks such as site cleanup, material handling, and assisting tradespeople as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- must have previous construction experience
- Delivery driver experience is highly preferred, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to flatbed trucking and material handling
- Ability to perform physical labour including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork

Pay: £12.80-£15.00 per hour
