Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems according to technical specifications, safety standards, and best practices
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and connect electrical components of solar installations
- Conduct inspections of installed systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using electrical experience to diagnose faults and implement solutions
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including system layouts and inspection reports
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment at all times
Experience
- Proven experience working with electrical systems, ideally within renewable energy or related fields
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for electrical installation tasks
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in solar installation
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams with clarity
- Prior experience installing or maintaining photovoltaic (solar panel) systems is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues
- Valid electrical license or certification is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates
