Job Summary
BritAsia Academy is looking for an approachable and knowledgeable Social Media Tutor to deliver weekly face-to-face sessions as part of our 12-week Content Creation Bootcamp.
The successful candidate will teach adult learners (19+) the practical foundations of social media marketing, helping them develop the knowledge and confidence to create engaging content, build effective social media strategies and produce a professional portfolio. This role is ideal for an experienced social media practitioner or content creator who enjoys sharing their expertise and supporting learners in a classroom environment
Duties
- Deliver engaging weekly face-to-face social media training sessions.
- Teach learners social media strategy and SMART goals.
- Explain target audiences, customer personas and content pillars.
- Deliver sessions on branding and digital storytelling.
- Teach content planning, repurposing and optimisation across multiple platforms.
- Support learners in creating content calendars, captions, hashtags and applying social SEO principles.
- Introduce learners to basic social media analytics and paid advertising.
- Provide constructive feedback and support throughout the programme.
- Assist learners in developing and presenting their final social media strategy project.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Practical experience creating or managing social media content for a business, brand or organisation.
- Good knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of content strategy, branding, audience targeting and basic analytics.
- Confidence using Canva, CapCut and Meta Business Suite.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain social media concepts clearly to beginners.
- Patient, supportive and engaging teaching style.
- Confidence delivering face-to-face group sessions.
- Reliable and available to teach part-time across multiple 12-week bootcamp cohorts.
- Previous tutoring, teaching or workshop delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
- A teaching or training qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with paid social media advertising, AI-assisted content creation tools, or supporting adult learners is advantageous.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
