About the Role
We are an established dental practice in Guildford, and have recently expanded, seeking a confident and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team on Fridays. This role offers referral from our associate dentists but also direct access, allowing you to see patients without prior examination by a dentist.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dental hygiene treatments including scaling, polishing, and periodontal therapy
- Manage patients in line with GDC guidelines
- Deliver personalised oral health education and preventative advice
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
- Adhere to all cross-infection, CQC, and health & safety standards
Requirements
- Qualified and registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Experience working under direct access (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Confident working with nursing support
- Reliable and committed to a Saturday clinic
