We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. Duties
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and bartenders, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all areas of food production and service.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to ensure efficient operations.
- Train new staff members on operational procedures, customer service expectations, and food safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus, specials, and promotional events that enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food production industry is preferred.
- Background in Japanese and Pan Asian Cuisine
- Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety regulations, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both service delivery and kitchen management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
