Description
The Cedars Nurseries is a highly regarded provider of early childhood education and care with nurseries in Sunderland and Newcastle. Family owned and open since 1996, we have a wealth of experience in ensuring best outcomes for all children. They are seeking to recruit an apprentice to work in their Newcastle nursery.
Typical Duties Could Include:
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play
- Assisting with feeding, personal care, and daily routines
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Observing and recording children’s progress
- Working alongside experienced early years professionals
You'll complete your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification with the support of Skills North East’s expert tutors, combining classroom learning with on-the-job training.
Entry requirements
Grade 4 (C) or above GCSE in Maths & English
