About us
The Abbotsford Hotel has a rich history as a long-standing symbol of hospitality. This iconic establishment was originally constructed in 1916 as private residence and transitioned into the Abbotsford in 1966. An extensive remodel was completed in 2024 and blends modern amenities with the hotel’s original charm and character, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The iconic 16 bedroom boutique hotel, with bar, restaurant and function room, has won multiple awards under Southern Ayr which we are extremely proud of.
We’re looking for a warm, attentive Server to join our front-of-house team, someone who takes pride in what they do and brings positive energy to every shift.
About the role
- Welcoming guests with genuine warmth and making them feel at home
- Taking food and drink orders confidently and accurately
- Delivering attentive, thoughtful service throughout each guest’s visit
- Keeping tables and service areas clean, organised, and inviting
- Working closely with the kitchen and your teammates to keep service flowing
- Handling guest questions or small issues with care and professionalism
- Processing payments accurately when required
