We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our Royal Dockyard team based in Plymouth – Devonport.

KierBAM are a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall, currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth. We're seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join our collaborative team in this rewarding and challenging role within a live MOD facility.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Sub Agent, you'll be working within the Royal Dockyard team, supporting them in delivering this important project. Your day to day will include:
- Leading, supervising and mentoring team members whilst maintaining high personal standards in health, safety and environmental practices
- Monitoring and recording delivery against agreed programmes, identifying challenges and creating solutions to minimise impacts
- Managing resources effectively including labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery
- Communicating effectively with site management, technical specialists, planners, engineers, suppliers and client representatives
- Reviewing and ensuring risk assessments, method statements and quality processes are in place and followed before works commence
What are we looking for?
This role of Sub Agent is great for you if:
- You hold a Degree, HND, HNC or NVQ in Construction, Engineering or Logistics, or equivalent qualification
- You have a proven track record in delivering construction, civils or logistics operations with excellent organisational skills
- You possess SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS certification at the appropriate level
- You demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative approach
- You have strong management skills with experience in controlling teams and are commercially aware with keen attention to detail
