Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Fabricate sheet metal components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, camduct and specialised tooling to cut, shape, grind, and assemble sheet metal parts
- Perform welding and grinding tasks to join components securely and achieve desired finishes
- Measure materials accurately using basic maths skills to ensure precise fabrication
- Assist in the installation and assembly of sheet metal structures on-site or in the workshop
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding, grinding, or related roles within sheet metal work
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes and tooling operations
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements
- Familiarity with safety procedures relevant to working with sheet metal and industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure quality workmanship
- Prior experience working with sheet metal materials
