Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, transport, and position materials throughout the facility
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by accurately handling inbound and outbound shipments
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, update records, and ensure data accuracy
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization in designated areas
- Support warehouse operations by performing basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety checks
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Valid forklift certification or license as required by local regulations
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory movements
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to lift heavy loads consistently and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording inventory data accurately
