Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Turret Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating turret machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the fabrication process. Duties
- Set up and operate turret machines to produce sheet metal parts according to technical specifications.
- Amada Machinery
- Use hand tools and tooling to adjust and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of finished components for quality assurance, adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with fabrication tasks in the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal working processes and associated hand tools.
- Familiarity with tooling, assembly techniques, and basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Good understanding of mechanical principles related to manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Previous experience operating turret machines or similar equipment is advantageous
Pay: £12.71 per hour
