Job Specification – 1x Excavator Operator (GPS)
Location: Chestergate, Sunderland
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Up to 4 Years
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Rate: £22.00 per hour
Payment: CIS or PAYE
Edge is recruiting for 1x experienced Excavator Operator to start immediately on a long-term project in Chestergate, Sunderland.
Duties
- Operating an excavator safely and efficiently on site
- Working using GPS machine control
- Carrying out excavation, grading and trenching works to specification
- Working alongside the groundworks team to meet programme requirements
- Carrying out daily machine checks and maintaining a safe working environment
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator ticket
- Proven GPS machine control experience
- Previous experience operating excavators on civil engineering or construction projects
- Full PPE
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
