HR Advisor (Talent & People)
Location: St Helens (Hybrid) 3 days office, 2 days WFH.
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits
Help us build a workplace where great people thrive.
At Safer Sphere, we believe our people are our biggest strength.
As we've grown, so has our People & Performance function. We're now looking for a Talent & People Co-ordinator (HR Advisor) to join our established team. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll play a key role in supporting our people, partnering with managers, attracting great talent and helping us continue building a workplace where people can do their best work and thrive.
This is far more than an administration role. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, is confident supporting managers with employee relations, has a passion for recruitment and onboarding, and is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved wherever they're needed.
If you enjoy building strong relationships, solving problems and making a genuine difference to people's working lives, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
You'll support the full employee journey, including:
- Providing HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases.
- Coordinating recruitment and helping us attract great people.
- Supporting a first-class onboarding experience for new starters.
- Supporting employee wellbeing, engagement and development initiatives.
- Maintaining HR systems and employee records.
- Helping deliver People & Performance projects across the business.
No two days will look the same, and that's exactly how we like it.
What we're looking for
You'll ideally have:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards it).
- Previous experience in an HR or People role.
- Strong employee relations experience.
- Confidence in supporting managers through formal HR processes.
- Recruitment and onboarding experience.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to get stuck in.
- The ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and wants to help others succeed.
Why Safer Sphere?
We're a growing national consultancy with ambitious plans for the future, but we've worked hard to keep the culture that got us here.
You'll be joining a supportive team where ideas are welcomed, development is encouraged, and everyone is expected to contribute.
We believe in investing in our people through learning, mentoring and real career development. You'll have the opportunity to broaden your experience across every area of HR while working alongside an experienced and supportive People & Performance team.
What you'll get
At Safer Sphere, we believe in rewarding and supporting our people. Alongside a competitive salary and hybrid working, you'll benefit from 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, a Holiday Buy Scheme, private healthcare, a company pension and participation in our Employee Benefit Trust. We're committed to your development, offering professional learning opportunities and support towards CIPD qualifications, alongside an Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work and EV Salary Sacrifice schemes. You'll also enjoy regular company social events and wellbeing initiatives as part of a supportive and collaborative culture.
