Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manual methods
- Serve drinks and meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation, serving, and handling
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Manage guest inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and process payments efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience working in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a lively environment
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for all necessary skills
