Stockport School are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to the post of Attendance Assistant – Educational Outreach Officer working 37 hours per week, term time only plus 2 days (*Part-time working requests may also be considered). Scale 5, Points 12-17: £28,598 - £31,022* (full-time, full year salary), (*to be reduced on a pro-rata basis to the actual part-time hours / term-time weeks worked).

The Attendance Role:
The post involves supporting the Attendance Manager with the responsibility for the support, challenge and administration of effective Attendance systems to support educational engagement in school.
To raise the profile and importance of attendance within the school and community by working to develop procedures and initiatives aimed at raising and maintaining attendance.
To improve and maintain whole school attendance and address and reduce persistent non-attendance to a minimum of national levels.
