Poms Lichfield recently celebrated it's 10th Birthday! We are looking for hard working people, passionate about delivering the highest standards of service to customers, to join the team in our busy, award winning flagship Lichfield site!
We are seeking a passionate & experienced barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for coffee, with a good base knowledge of the bean to cup process.
They will also be required to assist with daily operations, and service within the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of beverages, in line with specifications & presentation standards
- Open & close the bar area to a high, and consistent standard
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Manage sales activities and meet sales targets
- Provide leadership and support to achieve operational excellence
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Support in organizing store promotions and events
Experience:
- Barista experience essential (minimum 2 years)
- Knowledge of general barista machine setup, and basic maintenance is ESSENTIAL
- Additional bar experience/cocktail knowledge is preferred, but not essential
- Organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and work at speedd

PLEASE NOTE:
We are looking for someone with flexible availability, must be able to work weekends.
Must also be available to work Bank Holidays, and other key dates throughout the year.
We do not open on evenings, so no late nights.
In addition to your pay, you will also receive a share of the service charge received each month.
You may, from time to time, be asked to help at our other restaurant locations.
Pay: Up to £13.10 per hour
