Stonemason Required – Restoration & Conservation Works
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Stonemason to join our team working on a variety of restoration and conservation projects across Devon and Cornwall.
Experience in the restoration of historic buildings would be advantageous; however, it is not essential as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repointing and lime mortar work
- Stone replacement and repairs
- Defrassing
- Stone walling, including new build, repair, and restoration projects
- General masonry and conservation work
Location:
Projects are located throughout Devon and Cornwall. Transport can be arranged from Liskeard or from a designated pick-up point along the route.
Requirements:
- Previous stonemasonry or construction experience preferred
- Own transport would be advantageous, although the ability to use public transport is acceptable
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn

- Travel time paid for journeys exceeding one hour from the designated pick-up point
- CIS rate: £23.00 per hour
- PAYE positions available, with rates dependent on experience
Pay: £16.00 per hour
