We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Administration Assistant to manage our day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping requirements. The applicant must have excellent organisational skills, the ability to communicate accurately and clearly with customers and colleagues and be able to multitask. Working in a small, friendly office with many shared responsibilities, the right applicant must be an excellent team player and willing to help wherever necessary.
A general overview of the role includes:
- SAGE Accounting
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
- Regular invoicing and reconciliation of customer payments
- Input and payment of supplier invoices
- Reconciliation of credit card statements and bank statements
- CIS
- Prepare VAT tax returns
- Stock take
- Fleet management
- Insurance
- Ability to process wages an advantage
There are also a number of shared office tasks to include but not limited to:
- Generating quotes
- Raising customer jobs
- Scanning
- Filing
- Answering the telephone/door
- Dealing with customer/supplier enquiries.
Requirements and experience within the following are a must:
- SAGE
- VAT
- Microsoft Office
- Experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role
Expected start date: ASAP
Minimum of 16 hours, extra to be discussed.
£14.50 per hour.
