About the Role
We’re a house renovation company specialising in full property refurbishments, kitchens, bathrooms and general improvements.
We are currently carrying out ongoing social housing refurbishment projects across the Luton area and are looking for an experienced, reliable Labourer with painting experience to join our team.
We have a consistent pipeline of work in Luton, making this a good opportunity for a self-employed tradesperson looking for regular, local work rather than one-off jobs.
The Role
You’ll be supporting our teams across our refurbishment projects, carrying out general labouring duties as well as painting and decorating work.
Typical duties will include:
- General site labouring and assisting trades
- Moving and preparing materials
- Site clearance and keeping properties clean and tidy
- Basic preparation and painting
- Touch-ups, snagging and finishing work
- Assisting with general refurbishment works
- Working alongside our site teams to keep projects moving
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and able to work independently when required.
Essential Requirements
✔ Self-employed and CIS registered
✔ Previous experience working on construction/refurbishment projects
✔ Good painting and decorating experience
✔ Own tools suitable for general labouring and painting
✔ Own reliable transport
✔ Reliable, punctual and professional
✔ Able to work across Luton and surrounding areas
✔ Valid CSCS card or equivalent Health & Safety certification – preferred
