Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Footwear Closing Machinist to join our bespoke and small production manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly closing uppers for the footwear using sewing and stitching techniques to ensure high-quality product finishes. Your precision and craftsmanship will contribute directly to delivering exceptional footwear to our customers. Duties
- Operate sewing machines and other closing equipment to securely assemble footwear
- Follow detailed work instructions and quality standards to ensure consistent product finishing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and improve workflow processes
- Document completed work accurately, including any adjustments or repairs made during the closing process
