The Role:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media/Marketing Assistant to join our evolving team at our Plant Centre where you will support and develop a marketing strategy. We work with plants and gardening themes so you will be working outdoors in all weather conditions as well as a lovely warm office! We are looking for someone who can take ownership and build on the brand that we have already created to drive our business forward.
Job Summary:
- Creating content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Filming and editing short form video content
- Creating graphics and marketing materials using Canva
- Writing captions and producing engaging social media posts
- Scheduling offers/content to reach relevant target audiences
- Developing innovative ideas and keeping up with social media trends
- Outdoor and indoor tasks
- Horticlub promotions and partner engagement
- Reviewing engagement and identifying what content performs well
- Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel to analyse results, customer feedback and sales data.
- Visiting show homes and uploading videos to promote our plants via social media
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivation and exceptional communication skills
- Driving License required
- Previous experience in
o Microsoft Packages
o Canva
o Square (desirable)
