New Opportunity - Field Telematics Engineer
Our Ripley-based client is looking for an experienced Field Telematics Engineer to join their team. You will be covering the Midlands and local areas using a company van and fitting telematic devices, DVR and dashcams into their clients’ vehicles.
As the new Field Telematics Engineer, you will:
- Cover both local areas and the Midlands with occasional further travelling.
- Liaise with clients both on site and over the phone/email to schedule and manage your work diary.
- Install telematic devices, DVR and dashcams into customers’ vehicles.
- Test / troubleshoot devices to ensure they are working and transmitting data correctly and accurately.
Requirements as the new Field Telematics Engineer:
- A full UK Driver’s License will be required for travel in this role.
- Previous experience as an Auto Electrician, Vehicle Installation Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience fitting telematic devices to vehicles.
- Experience connecting wiring to a vehicle’s electrical system.
About this role:
- This role will be full-time, Monday – Friday. Some flexibility is available with the working hours.
- Salary for this position will be £36,000 + Bonus scheme.
- A company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop will be provided.
