We are a leading Stone Worktop manufacturer and installer based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, operating across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced fitting team (Lead Fitter + Fitting Hand) to be based in Scotland, working on a remote/site-based basis.
We are ideally looking for an established two-person team with proven experience working together in stone worktop installation.
Role Overview
You will carry out the templating, delivery support and installation of natural stone and quartz work surfaces in domestic and commercial properties across varying locations.
Lead Fitter (Team Lead)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lead fitting role
- Ability to manage and lead a small installation team
- Confident working from digital plans/measurements
- Strong stone/quartz installation experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site procedures
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards
Fitting Hand
- Previous experience in installation or construction preferred
- Supporting lead fitter on all installation works
- Manual handling of stone materials
- Use of hand and power tools
- Loading/unloading and vehicle support
- Full UK driving licence (minimum 2 years’ experience) essential
