- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Monitoring children’s progress and ensuring accurate observations and assessments
- Supporting children with SEND through inclusive practices and tailored support
- Creating a warm, safe, and inspiring learning environment
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers, sharing updates and addressing concerns
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
- Supporting staff development and acting as a role model within the nursery
What We’re Looking For
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Confidence in leading a room or mentoring other practitioners
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
- Experience supporting children with SEND (desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Paediatric First Aid (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
Why Join Us?
You’ll be part of a supportive nursery team that values leadership, creativity, and professional growth.
