We are working with a well-established food business that supplies fresh produce and prepared produce ingredients to major retailers. They focus on delivering high-quality, fresh products with a strong emphasis on food safety, traceability, and customer specifications. They are now looking for a passionate Quality Auditor to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Role Overview:
As a Quality Auditor, you will work closely with all departments to ensure products are produced in line with customer specifications and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete quality records daily or at the agreed frequency outlined in the product specification
- Carry out start-up and completion checks
- Perform routine production quality checks
- Conduct product weight verification and packaging integrity checks
- Complete paperwork verification
- Ensure all batch codes and dates are correctly entered and traceable
- Support the wider team in maintaining high standards across the site
- Ensure food safety and quality requirements are consistently met
What We're Looking For:
This role would suit someone from a food manufacturing QA or QC background, ideally within fresh produce or prepared food environments, who is confident making quality-based decisions and has a solid understanding of HACCP and sampling practices. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working with multiple departments, and the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment is important. Good IT skills are required, and a full driving licence is essential for this role as it involves driving as part of the job.
