Overview
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Support Workers to join our growing domiciliary care team. This rewarding role involves providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals within their own homes and supported living environments, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Our services include dementia care, end-of-life care, supported living, learning disability support, companionship, and general daily living assistance. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and committed to delivering respectful and personalised care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
- Provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and learning disabilities
- Support clients receiving end-of-life and palliative care with compassion and dignity
- Assist with medication administration in line with care plans and company policies
- Prepare meals and support nutritional needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce isolation
- Support with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Assist clients in accessing the community, attending appointments, or social outings
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures at all times
- Respond appropriately in emergencies and provide basic first aid when required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, supported living, nursing homes, or similar care settings is desirable
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia, end-of-life care needs, or learning disabilities is advantageous
- Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic first aid knowledge is beneficial; training can be provided
- A valid driving licence is highly desirable due to the community-based nature of the role
