Job Description
Thames Financial & Professional Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the company's financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial management. You will lead the finance function, provide strategic financial insights, and support business growth through sound financial planning and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare statutory and management accounts in accordance with financial regulations.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls.
- Lead and develop the finance team while supporting business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Pay: £5,500.00-£8,800.00 per month
