The Role
We are currently looking for experienced and motivated Class 1 or Class 2 Recovery Drivers to join our growing team, covering Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.
No two days are the same — you’ll be out on the road handling a variety of situations, from roadside breakdowns to complex vehicle recoveries. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that suits someone who enjoys problem-solving and working independently.
Working Hours
- 10-hour shifts
- Mixture of days and nights
- Weekend work required
- Elements of on-call duty
Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns and accidents
- Safely recover and transport vehicles, including commercial vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Complete relevant paperwork and reports accurately
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
- CPC qualification and valid Digi Tacho card
- Previous driving experience is essential
- Must be aged 21 or over
- Basic mechanical knowledge required
- Previous recovery or towing experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided
- Good knowledge of road safety and regulations
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be able to pass police vetting
