Head Chef Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative Head Chef to take the lead in our brand-new kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual ready to take full ownership of menu creation, team development, and day-to-day kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop innovative seasonal menus and weekly specials
- Design and deliver bespoke wedding menus and private event catering
- Establish and manage the kitchen to your own high standards
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and train a dedicated kitchen team
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and HACCP regulations
- Manage kitchen budgets, stock control, and waste reduction
- Work closely with, and report directly to, the General Manager
- Ensure all kitchen operations align with company policies and legal requirements
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef
- Highly creative, with excellent menu planning and development skills
- Demonstrated experience in weddings, events, and private functions
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Confident leader with excellent team-building abilities
- Highly organised, professional, and capable of working independently
- Passionate about creating a positive kitchen culture from the ground up
