About the Role
You'll attend roadside breakdowns, road traffic collisions and vehicle recoveries, delivering professional assistance and first-class customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to roadside breakdowns and accidents
- Diagnosing and repairing minor faults where possible
- Recovering vehicles safely using modern recovery equipment
- Transporting vehicles safely
- Providing reassurance to customers
- Maintaining company vehicles and equipment
Who We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence
- At least 5 years' experience driving 7.5-tonne vehicles or above
- Calm, professional and dependable
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Mechanical knowledge desirable but not essential
Licence Categories Welcome
- C1 (7.5 Tonne)
- Category C (Class 2)
IVR-qualified Recovery Operators are especially encouraged to apply.
Full Training Provided
Comprehensive in-house training together with nationally recognised recovery qualifications.
Shift Options
Option 1 – 4 On / 2 Off
- 12-hour shifts
- Various start times
Option 2 – Monday-Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Alternate weekend on-call rota
Option 3 – Monday-Friday
- 08:00–20:00
- 12-hour daytime shifts

Important Information
Vehicle recovery operates 24/7. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and bank holidays may occasionally be required. Successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS check.
