Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated person to join our team. As the workshop cleaner/caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping and sorting recycling
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty bins and replace liners as needed
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
- Carry out any minor repairs and building maintenance work when needed.
- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
