Driver and Installation Technician
Purpose:
To deliver, install, network and demonstrate photocopiers and printers at customer locations across the UK (Birmingham & south)
To be capable of driving (sometimes long distances), lifting heavy equipment (sometimes using a stair walker), with some degree of IT knowledge
Key responsibilities:
Deliver, install, network and prepare equipment on behalf of the Company to a high level of workmanship
To show flexibility and willingness to help the Company meet its deadlines
Monitor and maintain parts/items issued such as van stock, IT equipment, vehicles and protective equipment to the standard and level in which they were provided
To work and conduct yourself in a safe manner at all times to ensure the protection and safety of yourself and others
Take ownership and accountability of jobs/tasks allocated to yourself, ensuring Company targets are met and the client receives the best service level and experience available
Perform tasks issued by management in a quick and courteous manner
Manage your personal and Companies time effectively whilst performing your daily duties
Ensure paperwork be it electronic or manual is kept updated and complete within the standards and timescales outlined by management
Ensure the correct Company procedures and guidelines are followed when using equipment on clients and XBM sites
To report issues and situations which may affect the Companies daily operations and procedures, such as absence or accidents so they can be recorded and monitored effectively and promptly with the specified timescales to the appropriate manager
Report to management any changes in your personal circumstances which may affect your daily duties performed for the Company
To attend and be prepared for Company/department meetings
To attend and support any and all hospitality events held by the company
To be involved in XBM projects as and when requested
To ensure that best practice is shared and implemented with your colleagues
To support the Directors and the senior management team in ensuring the company core values are implemented at all times
Competencies
Willingness to drive, sometimes long distances (UK)
Install & network office equipment
Have a basic understanding of IT
Full UK driving license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
