Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all residents, guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, someone with experience in managing a team, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed.
- Respond promptly to requests and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies in good condition, reporting any maintenance needs to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while performing cleaning tasks.
- Participate in completing internal audits.
- Supervise and support allocated staff members.
Experience
- Previous housekeeping experience is required & experience in the care setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with residents, colleagues and visitors.
- The ability to be flexible.
- Cooking skills are a plus, enabling assistance with meal preparation when necessary.
