This is a rewarding 1:1 role where your support makes a real, visible difference every single day — helping a child feel safe, happy, and supported in their routine.
In the Hertforshire region, we have several packages requiring compassionate carers with strong experience in delivering care to children. We are looking for HCA's with experience in airway management, Ventilation and tracheostomy and ideally from a complex care background.
You’ll support the client with clinical tasks outlined in their care plan, which may include:

Urgent requirement - Night Shifts
Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home
Supporting with school and community access
Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
Working closely with clinical, care, and coordination teams
Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported, and confident in their daily life.
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
Experience in caring for Paediatric age groups (Mandatory)
Confidence with clinical tasks or a willingness to learn
Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills
Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a person-centred approach
Ability to work independently within a care plan
